Paste a screenshot online

Screenshot → clipboard → paste → link. Skip saving a file just to upload it somewhere else.

macOS

• Capture to clipboard with ⌘ + Control + Shift + 4 (or 3 for full screen)
• Open dropimg.io
• Press ⌘ + V

If you already saved a .png to the desktop, drag it onto the page or use Choose image.

Windows

• Snipping Tool / Snip & Sketch → copy the snip
• Or Win + Shift + S, then copy
• Open dropimg.io and press Ctrl + V

Why clipboard paste beats “save then upload”

Support chats, Discord, Slack, and bug reports are full of “one quick screenshot.” Saving to Downloads, finding the file, and attaching it is friction. Pasting from the clipboard keeps the loop in one browser tab.

dropimg.io returns a temporary URL (24 hours). Send that URL wherever the conversation is happening.

Formats

PNG and JPEG screenshots work best. WebP and GIF are fine too. Max 10 MB. SVG is not accepted.
