Upload anonymously in three steps

  1. Upload without signing up Paste, drop, or choose a file. Nothing is asked of you — no email, no profile.
  2. Set the lifetime 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, chosen before the upload runs.
  3. Share and forget it Copy the link. When the time is up the image is deleted for you.

No account required

Upload from the page above without signing up. Accounts exist but are entirely optional: a free account only adds a list of your last 10 active links, and Drops Pro adds longer links and passwords. There are no public profiles and no searchable library of uploads.

What we do and do not keep

  • IP addresses are hashed for abuse rate limits, not for identity.
  • Image metadata is stripped when the format supports it.
  • The image itself is deleted when the lifetime you chose runs out.
  • Anonymous uploads are never attached to an account unless you claim them yourself.

Still accountable

Anonymous does not mean unmoderated. Abuse can be reported at /abuse, and illegal content is removed. See the Privacy Policy and Terms for details.

Temporary by design

  • Free uploads last 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days — 7 days by default.
  • You can delete sooner with the delete control from your upload session.
  • There is no permanent anonymous Drop option. Permanent application files belong in Web Assets, which need a signed-in project.
  • Password-protected links and lifetimes up to 180 days require a Pro account.

Anonymous hosting questions

Is an account ever required?

No. Anonymous uploading is the normal way to use dropimg.io. Accounts are optional and only add history, longer links, passwords, and integrations.

How long does an anonymous link last?

You choose 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days before uploading, and 7 days is the default. After that the image is deleted and the link stops serving.

Can I host an image anonymously forever?

No. Every Drop link expires — there is no permanent storage tier for Drops. The longest Drop lifetime is 180 days, with Drops Pro. Permanent application files belong in Web Assets.

Are uploads really anonymous?

No email or profile is required, and metadata is stripped when supported. IP addresses are hashed for rate limiting and abuse handling only. Read the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
